A man from a nearby tiny island is admitted into a small clinic in Guam with some mysterious bites on him and eventually dies.

The search begins, for what creature could have caused those mysterious wounds and its death.
An expedition team with Valentine heading, medics, scientists, security,   and their female pilot, go into the island's jungle to investigate.

When their small plane crashes they find themselves stranded on the island with huge spider-like mutated monsters with an appetite for killing humans.
